St Benedicts Tai Chi
Formerly Beacon of light Tai Chi
Glastonbury- a sacred Isle

Glastonbury’s powerful spiritual and healing energies makes it the perfect place to learn and practice Tai Chi. Rising majestically out of the wetlands of the Somerset levels, the Michael and Mary Ley lines energises this healing and spiritual place as they flow through it.
In antiquity Glastonbury was such a renowned spiritual centre that legend has it that Jesus travelled here as a boy with his uncle Joseph of Arimathea. William Blakes hymn Jerusalem ‘And did those feet in ancient time…’ refers to this. Then, after the Crucifixion, Joseph of Arimathea and his companions returned to Glastonbury and founded the first Christian church in England. This they dedicated to St Mary, Jesus’ mother. This small wattle church would one day become one of the great Medieval Abbeys in Christendom.
Legend has it that after Jesus’ Crucifixion his uncle, Joseph of Arimathea, travelled here with the Holy Grail. It is therefore to Glastonbury that the Arthurian Knights came on their Grail Quest. Glastonbury’s spiritual energy transforms: it is the place of spiritual death and rebirth to a higher spiritual level. Like the Grail Knights.
